Bad Paint Job by Dealer

I'll make this short.....

******* biffed my rear bumper. (paid for it in cash, though!)

Dealer replaces bumper for $750 incl. repainting (black).

Two weeks later, paint is starting to bubble and flake in many places. Not BIG flakes or bubbles, and not ALOT - but it AIN'T as nice as stock.

Do I take it back and make 'em re-paint it?????
Oh gawd, the HASSLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Figure I'll make 'em do it when my "REPLACEMENT" Stereo comes in.

My inclination is YES.....Duh.

Whattya think???

Sounds like you already know the answer.

One-day hassle with dealer vs. having paint problems with your car for the next few years. Hmmm...

Was this an I-CAR gold class shop? I had some work done to my car and when I told them I was not happy they repainted the front bumper twice to get it right.

sorry, but is this serious? You're saying they did a crappy job and then questioning if you should bring it back and have it redone? If you paid for work and it wasn't done to your satisfaction, have them do it again to get it right or get your money back...that goes for anything, not just your car.
