****ed off at the MAXIMA!!!!
Well today... I was at a light...i was sitting behind a 02 or 03 Maxima SE and next to his car was a Volvo S70... anyways... the light turns green and they take off... i myself watching them do the same... it was a two lane road, so i never got to get in front of them... the S70 took the Max, with me behind them...
The thing that ****ed me off was, that the Maxima felt like crap riding on this two lane road... this road as alot of curves... man, this Maxima of mines felt like a MiniVan trying to go fast... i felt so much body roll... and for a moment i felt like the wheel was jiggling and ready to come off... and yes I do have a addco RSB, but didn't help at all, maybe it did a little, but no much... and NO i haven't dropped it yet (TEINS in the garage waiting for install)... But dannmn this Maxima felt like crap in those curvy roads... i felt like going to the Suburu dealer and gettin me a WRX Sti or at least ordering one... the Max handles like crap in curves,,, i took an IS300 in the same road at the same speed before and it took the curvy road beautiful.. too bad i can't say the same about my Max,,, and Yes the IS300 was bone stock...
Dissapointed for sure...

If you are disappointed with Maxima's handling, why bought it in the first place? Lexus IS300 has a smaller body and it has advantage in handling. Just out of curiousity, who won in the end? The MAX in front of you, or the Volvo?

I know... the max in front of me shut it down... after the S70 pulled him and took him through the curves, and shut it down too after awhile, i never caught up to him... i was consered with my car going into a ditch with all that body roll

Those S70's are pretty quick I have one of those in Palestine and there are alot of open roads thier so I love to push it to the MAX.
I was in the same situation you were in feeling ****ty about my Max when it came to curves. I got my springs installed and a fstb and now you cant keep me off of the curves. It feels so good when a curve says 25mph amd im doing 60. As for the rstb supposably thats supposed to help alot but I guess not.
To make you feel better I smoked the hell out of an is300 on some very I mean very curvy roads.

Do you guys know you're supposed to check the screws that hold your RSB in place every 6 months or so? Sometimes the bolts loose themselves and you need to tighten it some more. Maybe that might help.

A little surprising that the Volvo was faster in the turns though, even though the Max's aren't exactly razor sharp in curves. In Europe the Volvos are used as police cars, and are known for being unable to handle the additional performance when the engines are heated up. They apparently leave the road a lot...
