I need to buy some new tires for my 2000 Max,
I took off the Toyo's after 32,000 miles. I have
snow tires on now but want to buy a good quality
summer tire for the spring. I need a 215-55-16 tire
that lasts fairly well, isn't noisey, grips well.
I don't race, or drive it to the limit, just some
spirited touring through the back country now and then.
I saw some Bridgestone A520 tires that were V rated
on sale for $100.00 each, any good?. Please give me
some idea's and why. Thanks

In the post there are links to a couple of web-sites where you can get good info on many different tires. Good luck.
To P or not to P
I noticed that the tires from the factory has a P in front of the 215/55, and some tires are just 215/55. What's the difference? I was looking at tires at tirerack.com and I noticed they don't make many with the P in front of the number. Does it matter what kind I put on the car?
