Maxima Noise on front end

Wondering if someone can help me.. I have a maxima 2002 SE with only 11,500 miles and starting 4 months ago there is a noise coming from the front left tire (Drivers Side) when going over a bump under 10mph, anything over that the road noise it to load and you cannot hear it.. It thought it was the strut that went bad, so last week I brought it to the dealer took a mechanic for a ride and he confirmed the problem. They replaced the struts and the problem was still there, then they said it was some kind of part in steering and replaced that part and still the problem is there, I’m ****ed because this car is like new and they are pretty much putting there hands on everything, the noise sound like a load ticking noise but its hard to describe it.. Does anyone know what is going on?? I hate when the dealer touch’s things because they never put everything back on right including paneling, screws, etc...

Help..

There are several 02's including myself with that problem. My last resort will be to change the strut tops b/c I was told they may be faulty.

Do you think the dealer changed the strut tops when they told me they replaced the strut?

They definitely didn't. I'm having it done by a private mechanic.

I've had the same problem on mine. 2001 AE (Canadian) - It makes a groaning noise in the front driver's side. Going over bumps or when making a right hand turn only. First time I took it in, they told me it was something on the sway bar, which they replaced. That didn't work, noise was still there. Back to the dealer again, they decided to replace the driver's side strut, but the next day - the noise is still there. I am dropping off the car next week and leaving it overnight so they can figure out the problem. I am tired of listening to the awful groaning noise. The dealer is having a hard time determing what the problem is. I am just over 60K (Canadian) on mine, which means they will still cover the work under warranty.
Has anyone else had a hard time with this??

I've had a real hard time, I've been back to the dealer 7 times for this problem and still no luck.
