Purchasing an Intake

I want to purchase an Intake for my Max, I just got the car last week and its only got 400 miles. Do you think it is wise to maybe wait till I get a couple of thousand miles on the car before installing an Intake? Any suggestions on Intakes? My car is an 03 SE.

Thanks,

Stevie B

Well you gotta realize that most dealerships frown on aftermarket engine mods and will usually try to blame them for any problems that pop up. You have plenty of power on tap so if I was you Id wait for a while and let any potential bugs work there way out so if you need to take the dealer they cant say **** and when you start to get bored with the car in a few months then get an intake.

Intake is ok immediately. Make sure you put the stock box in when going to the dealer.

I have the swap down to 15min now!
