Well i have a 03 SE and I had Eibach springs on stock shocks before and i totally hated it so i took them off and put my stock springs back on... I need some opinions on what are some good setups?? I wanted to get the TEIN Super Street setup but they said it will not be out until earliest end of June... There another company but i forget the name of them that have the same setup as the TEIN but are $1500.. Does anyone have them on there ride? Hows the ride? I live in a bumpy region so that why i'm asking.. I hated the ride i had with Stock Struts and lowering springs... Any help would be greatly appreciated....

First, do you have enough money to shell out for a coil-over? JIC or Tein coil-over are well above $1000. If you dont have that much money, get some springs/struts. I myself are getting Tein/KYB GR2 combo. Check out our group deals for great deals.

Go Progress.....Great ride
Aerotech in Buena Park, California is ran buy Jack, he is a true Nissan Performance specialist form the 240z - 350z Jack has over 35 plus years in the nissan game, and he say that the stock nissan shocks and struts are great, and you don't have to change them to add springs, so im on 20"s and stock shocks and struts w/ progress springs and the ride is just like stock Progress spring are great ive tried eibach, and sprint, but the progress are the best.

You knew that was coming. You'll be amazed at how it looks after you get them on, I just kept staring at the car for a few min after the install. Now I want it to be lower, I dont want any wheelgap at ALL! It has like 1.5 finger gap all the way around. I think im just asking 4 too much.

Yeah I know. I am amazed that after seeing pics of the teins and gr-2s people still want maxspeeds, eibachs or H&Rs. I was hooked on maxspeeds, till i saw a 5th gen with teins. I ordered them that day!

You'll be surprized the 1st week at how hard those springs are. Like a rock... The handeling is really nice the 1st week as well. After they settle it gets a bit softer and wont bother you much at all, the handeling kinda fades a bit as well. Still a 100% improvment over OEM but I think I just got used to more speed in the corners w/o tipping over and dont feel it anymore. Over all I still like them and have no regets.

Since the subject came up about Tein/GR-2. I am installing the Tein/GR-2 combo myself. I have H&R and Tokico blues, but I want some more drop on the car. I know maxspeed springs are knockoffs of the H&R springs. They do give nice ride, but I started to regret it because I wanted the car to close the gap more. If I was you I would get Tein instead of maxspeed and not end up paying for it more later on. But, again this is just my opinion, I am not saying maxspeed are bad for those of you who have them, but through my personal experience I would go with Tein.

BTW: There is a Group Deal going on the Tein S. Tech Springs in the Group Deal forum. There is only 2 spots available, if you want them you better hurry. There are some pictures of Tein in that thread.

GR2 struts will fir the 5th gen period. Teh AGX's will fit the 5th gen if only they are modified to fit. You can purchase them modified from cattman. The AGX's will also need 4th gen struts mounts in the front and yes those will fit.

Yeah I don't know why KYB doesn't change their info to include the 02 and 03 maximas. I have a 2002 and they went on perfectly.
