Clear HID on a 2k3

I know it's been discussed before, but the post I found through a search only had a dead link in it and it didn't really answer the question. How do you go about clearing the amber color from the HIDs in a 2k2-2k3? I have a white car and I've cleared the side markers, so if I could just get the ugly amber out of the HIDs I'd be set. Thanks guys.

bake the light in an oven, separate the housing with a butter knife or screwdriver and pop the orange out...then reseal with silicone

It is a bit of a cumbersome task... it involves using a heat gun, a butter knife, and a small screwdriver to pry the housings apart.

What do you mean "we"? You didn't answer before!

But thanks for the responses guys. I think the vqpower.com site you mentioned was the dead link in the thread I found through the search. I'll check it out once the site is fixed.
