I just did this mod this weekend, great personal satisfaction! I found myself locking and unlocking my car every so often while driving just to see the ring.

Actualy I've got another question, K Pazzo, or anyone else, have you opened up the guage cluster and seen if these are the same bulbs or if those are LED's? I had this discussion with someone earler on the org but never resolved the bulb size.

yo, i just did this a couple of days ago. to answer your questions, no, they are not the same bulbs, and no, they are not LED's. they are fatter and shorter. i colored mine purple, but found that with the location of the bulbs, the colored light is not very evenly distributed. still look cool though.

Flawless write-up. Take it from someone that has done a write-up or two in the past. I think I might change to the blue bulb in the near future; or maybe just take the green condom off the existing bulb so it's white. I have to decide. What do you think would look better with my set-up?

What I did that worked really well is did the sharpie to the bulb, a coat or two... Ater a day or two of it being pretty blue, it now matches almost exactly w/ my Polarg interior lights. It looks so freakin sweet. Now what I want to do is Blue/White colorize my radio lights and guage lights. I think that will be tough though...

I checked your link and those needles are just about the coolest thing I've ever seen. I sent a guy an e-mail about the Sonic Blue kit for the 2003 SE so we'll see.

I personally dont have this, but it looks sick as hell from the pics in my opinion. They should be universal kits, one kit for two long needles and one kit for two short 1z.

Translucent blue spray paint from Hobby Bench. About 4-5 coats got me that color. Now my visor lights, door sills, and ignition light are almost identical. I likes. I need pics.

My buddy and org member 00SEinMA ordered the blue bulbs off ebay and we split the cost since you get 2.
