A little OT on tires...

I was checking the 6th gen maxima and notice that for the SE, they have 18x7.5 rims with 245 tires....I thought u can't do that, or where it recommends the width of the rims to be at least 8 inches.......since factory specs do it, so i guess I can put 245 on my 7.5 too as well huh??

just a thought
yes you can. look on tirerack.com for 245/45/17 and the specs on it. you will see that the range for that size is 7.5 - 9.
