Got new transmission, dealership F'ed up *long*
Well I got my new transmission. Second was not working right. It was covered under warranty. Well I went and picked it up Fri afternoon. I left the dealership VERY happy. I was cruising along with the windows down and music up enjoying life. Then everything turned bad. The throttle response started getting really bad. I stopped at a light and the whole car started shaking. The tach needle was jumping up and down. When I went to go, it just wouldnt. It sputtered and finally started going. I headed back to the dealership. On the way it got worse. It kept dying and I couldnt go about 20 mph. It sucked cause it was rush hour so people were honking and flippping me off. I recognized the symptoms. The same thing had happened after I put my Stillen intake on. It had come loose and it tripped the sensor. Well i stopped and looked at it was on there just fine. So I finally got it towed (dealership paid for it). By the time I got it there it was closed. I was so ****ed off by now. Well I showed up the next morning when they opened. We looked at it and come to find out I was right, it was the intake. But it was on the other end of the tube right before the throttle body. The mechanic had forgotten to tighten it. The service manager said they owed me one. So I am taking him up on it. I'm getting my bumper repainted for $100. The dealership is going to cover the rest!! So it all worked out.
