My Maglite mod

alot of people have been emailing me on this so I wanted to post different pics.

I bought the Maglite at Home Depot for about $18 bucks. Its a 4D size Maglite and you can get it in different colors. The mounts are sold in pairs so you only need one, they are about $3-$4. Just screw in the mount to the body of the car and you are done.

A anti car-jacking mod for the Max!

I thought I was alone.....

Well, I'm more ghetto....or cheap --- but mine rests between the drivers seat and and the center console on the chair rail....no clip needed!!

But that is SCHWEEEET!

I can attest to the "handiness" of this little buddy, as the moron who backed-into my rear and tried to flee was a split second from getting this 4-cell beauty flung thru his back window.

Too bad he stopped -- I JUST KNOW i coulda nailed it..>!!!

I went to home depot this evening. I bought another black 4D maglite (I already have one) and I bought the mounting brackets as well. I plan on putting one maglite on both the driver and passenger side. I used to keep it in the trunk next to the jack but now I will have it next to me and my passenger.

ive had the same mag light in my max for a long time and buying those mounts would help it from falling under the seat. looks good.

very nice mod....useful and tasteful!!!

In so far as "anti-carjacking", I've got my steel police-issue expandable 31" beater hidden under my floormat....

someone's gotta police these streets while the cops sit and eat dunkin donuts!

Yes it is a branded Maglite mount. The mounting holes are small. Just come out to Fontana and we can do some Maglite installs!

I remember when you first got it installed on your last max. I was quick to go out and get one. Great idea. Still holding up.

Can you believe that out of all the bad a$$ mods you have done to your car, the maglite is the one that gets the best response.

You car is awesome.

Thanks for the great idea maximadave. I just finished installing mine, stopped at Home Depot after work. The hardest part of this mod was finding the damm flashlight section. Anyway for those that were wondering the 4d maglite was 19.97 and the mount (came with 2) was 3.98. Thanks again maximadave

You can say that again. It took me 40 minutes inside HD today..20mns in Returns, 10mns to find that darn flashlight...and 10 mns back in line. That was record fast....
