I can attest to the "handiness" of this little buddy, as the moron who backed-into my rear and tried to flee was a split second from getting this 4-cell beauty flung thru his back window.

Interesting mod. I have a 4 D cell Maglite and I might get these mounting brackets for it.

I figured a nice $1 LED light that fits in the console would suffice now-a-days.

This mod was created more as a self defense thing than actual light mod. My opinion anyways. Since I dont own any weapons, usually drive by myself, mostly at night. And where Im stationed, to get what I need sometimes requires a longer trip to the other side of town.

I can see that being used as a weapon for sure.
