Perforated leather seats - Cooling Seats

Here's an off the wall question - is it possible to install a cooling system for the driver seat? I test drove an Audi (at least I think it was) a few years ago that had perforated leather and a fan that sucked air through the seat to keep your butt cool in the summer.

Is this possible to install in my Max? I drive around in a suit all day. It was only 80 degrees today and my black leather cooked my butt, even with the AC on high.

sorry, this is completely unhelpful, but i just want to take the chance to rave about the LS430's seats - leather was so thick and so smooth at the same time, not really sports seats, but they were cooled (actually worked), and the seats massaged you too.

we were sitting on a quiet suburban side road with the engine idling, and if i didnt look at the dash, i just would not have been able to tell if the car was on or not.

That was a Saab, they did it first. Then Mercedes, then everyone else.

Not a bad comfort feature, even if it was part of the over $20K price difference.

Personally I would also like to know if this was possible and not hear about what cars twice the price are possible of...

Maybe you could redirect the air that flows through the under seat vents to the perforated leather?
