Well, I'm sure you have all read about the recent issues with some turbos. I'm very glad that I am stuck overseas and just reading about it and not experiencing it. Now I have serious doubts about the turbo which I WAS gonna get this summer upon my return. So I need some advice. As someone with NO EXPERIENCE with working on cars, should I 1) Continue to research (not sure I'll ever grasp it though), and wait on a tried and true turbo kit (maybe custommaxima?), or
2) Go with the SC, or
3) Admit I don't have the knowledge to tackle these additions and just get a y pipe and a professional paint job (I want RED!).
I currently have a PR CAI, Greddy EVO, and just ordered TEIN springs, tokicos, and a big brake kit from Precision Brakes (for the turbo, haha).
So I still have a month before I return and start spending my money on installs and such. Plenty of time to change my mind a couple of times over again. Thanks for your advice.

It's an auto. I'm leaning towards the SC cause I want some speed (and I also forked out the money for the brake kit). I'm just not sure I would be able to handle all the maintenance of it. Most, ok all, of my repairs if needed would probably go to the shop as I'm not mechanically inclined.Originally posted by K Pazzo 6

You'd be the first...
