I was driving along the highway and a small rock hit my front windshield. It made a little crack . Tell me guys, what should I use to prevent the crack getting bigger? And how much does a new windshield cost? better not be 1k or i'll drive my car without windshield. I got poor suddenly won't have any more money to make major modification on my max. Lowering my car would be the last mod i did.
I've changed my cat back, got the stillen Hi flow intake. Put 18s on em, put 2 12" subs, painted most of the dash in yellow

 

I got a small chip in my windshield as well... right where I usually keep my eye on the road. It's sooooo annoying to have that small chip. I heard you can use silicone paste to prevent it from getting bigger. My friend did it on his '96 Merz C280. The windshield looked good, as if there was no chip before.

They should be able to inject some silicone into the crack and make it to where the crack stays small. Most of those mobile window repair places can do it and it should only be around $50 max.
