OK, I am getting tint tommorow (finally found a good price with a warranty). I am doing 7 windows - the back 5 I am thinking of doing 5% (limo), but I am unsure of what to do in the front. Here in California, I would get pulled over for something as obvious as 5% in the front, but with a lesser tint % it would not be as obvious and I would probably (hopefully) not get too much popo attention. Anyway, I want the front tint to be fairly dark, enough to not be too different from the dark back tint, yet be light enough for being able to see inside with some eye squinting. Any ideas?

Try 30% in the front, its just enough to blend in with the limo rears. I have it on mine and it looks superb, if i had pics i'd post it.

 

I have always had great luck w/20%. It's dark enough to offer the privacy & UV protevtion you want, yet borderline when the cops are looking at it.

The problem w/5% on the back is...the cops like to see what you're doing if/when they pull you over. If you go 5% on the back, you'll be sure to get a ticket for the tint.

I say 20% all around. Just my .02
