lowering my car...what else is needed??
hey guys,
just bought OBX coilovers...bought them cheap so i dont care if they dont ride well....
my question is...what else is need when doing a coil over system like mine... i have
4 springs
4 seats
4 sleeves
do i really need to change anything else on my carf..
my friends who are acu and honda guys told me i should cange my chamber somthing or another...
do i really need to?

It's called camber kits/bolts. Sometimes, you need them, sometimes you dont. Check with your local import shop.

If you don't lower it more then 2" then you won't need camber plates. Just an alighnment after the springs settle in will be good enough.
Be prepared to here a lot of clicking and spring noise with the obx if you drop it low.

and why would i need aftermarket shocks...are they REALLY needed?

coilovers huh.. get rid of them.. you will need a new struts a camber kit numerous alignments and lotttts of new tires sooner than later.. im taking mine out after the summer probally gonna get the tien springs

-You'd here clicking/misc. noises due to the OBX "sleeved" coilover system on stock shocks="HARSH RIDE"
-If your planning on dropping your car 2-2.5 inches all-around it's a good idea to upgrade your shocks if not you'll result in a "HARSH" ride.
All in all,I suggest you sell the OBX "sleeved" coilovers and get either a basic shock/spring set-up or "TRUE" coilover set-up. But hey,It's your car,do what you want to do.

Noise will come mainly between the spring and the lower perch. You will probably also get some from your stock struts bottoming out, as well as at the upper spring perch.
