Glove compartment light not working

Upon inspecting the bulb (seems to be an LED, very small), I did not see any break in the filament; could it be bad anyways? Went to Auto Zone for a new bulb and they had never seen that one before? Also, how is the light activated when the glovebox door is open; the latch isn't wired?

Thanks, T

Re: Glove compartment light not working

You have to turn on your headlight for that. Nissan engineers thought that you gotta be turning your headlights on when it's dark and so they made it such that the glove compartment will only light up when you turn on your headlights.
