"Service Engine Soon" light

Guys, I just got the "Service Engine Soon" light on my 2K1 at 22,000 miles. The car is running perfect and this light is annoying the sh*t out of me. Anything I can do to reset this thing?

turn it clockwise to tighten it until it clicks a few time.
if that doesnt work bring it to the dealer to pull the code.

I got one of those codes also when I had the same amount of mileage. It turned out to be a faulty ECU, it is very common with the 2k maxs. They just reprogrammed it and it fixed the problem.

I just had that two weeks ago. funny thing is my light went on after a fill up at a NJ Exxon station and it stayed on for a week. The next I filled up and started driving and realized the light was off. I had the code pulled in between at Autozone (gratis) and got the P0240 error. Run a search for some very useful information. My light has been out for a week. Now, it just showed up on my mothers 2000 Pathfinder and she only has 13000 miles on it.

Seems like we have similar problem. For the first time on Tuesday I slightly ran the car under normal before a refill. When I refilled the tank, I was coming home from work when I noticed the light on my dash was lit. It was probably the late refill on the gas and hopefully the light will go off on my next refill.

Guys, whats a code at Autozone and how do you get the code?

Autozone has a OBDII code scanner and they scan the code for you free. Just stop by there and ask them. It took least than a minute to do it.
