Suspension Help Needed!!!!!!!
Suspension Help Needed!!!!!!!
So, I finally droped my car with Teins and Toks... It was a PIA by myself. But, I borrowed my neihbor's Air Wrench and Tank, and it help ALOT. The rear suspension bolts on the bottom are REAL TIGHT...
But anyways, I lower the car off the jacks and Wow at the best drop for the Max, and go for a spin....
I hear nocking/clicking noises in the Driver Rear. I don't know what it is. Everytime I go over a bump or lump in the road, I hear the clicking/nocking noise. Everywhere is fine, but the Drivers Rear. It is coming directly from the top of the strut...
Can anyone help me?????

I finally found what the clicking knocking noise is. It is the bolt on top of the strut mount. I didn't bolt it down that much because Tokico informed me that I shouldn't bolt it down too much because it could cause damage to the piston.
Anyone have any suggestions who did their own install???
I am going to tight the bolt a bit more, and hopefully that will eliminate the noise.

The center bolt, or one of the two on the sides? I will have to check, but I think the center one was like 35ft pounds.

It's the center bolt. I am not using a torque compressor, just using good old wrench. Suggestions with this bolt without torque compressor???

just tighten the bolt down a little bit ago... knocking noise is gone...
opinion on the Tokico and Teins setup:
Great ... thumbs up... and best drop... not too low and not too high and no uneven from front to back...
As far as the ride... feels like stock if you had the SE suspension...
And one more thing... IS IT ME... or does your car feel faster after a drop... man my car feels awhole lot more tuned, just because of my drop... who knows??? it might just be me....
