Which rear sway bar should I get for a 2000 Maxima SE. Does both Stillen and Addco make one for the 2000? And doea Pep Boys carry one?

I got a Stillen rear bar.Addco doesn't yet have one.

I got a Stillen rear bar. I'm impressed with the workmanship of the bar. I also added a Stillen front
srut tower brace. I called Addco a few months ago
and they told me the 2K bar is in the works but not yet available.

Pepboys carries the Addco, but it's usually not stocked so you have to order it. I'd buy it from http://www.cattman.com if you want it.

I personally prefer the Stillen bar.

Brian, what do you think of the Suspension Tech. sways? Better than Addco, worse than Stillen? What?

Dude... I don't know.

I keep hearing about the ST sway bars, but I've never gotten any confirmation that they exist for the gen4 Maxima-- I know they're the (Best?) choice for the gen3's, but I don't know anything about the gen4 or gen5.

rsb install

are there any installation woes on either rsb that anyone knows of before i go ahead and get one? How long does it take and am i gonna be cursing and swearing the whole time -or is the rsb something that a modification beginer should just take in somewhere to have done?
i put in a stillen fstb & an intake w/o any problem, but i sure ain't no mechanic.

You shouldn't have any problems at all. Just make sure you follow the instructions and suggestions from other people and it should be a breeze. I'd say give yourself about 1 1/2 hours to do this (over estimating).

Re: rsb install

Overall the ADDCO bar was pretty easy to install. The passenger side midsection bracket will need to be trimmed a little if you get the 4th Gen kit. I'm not sure if they've finished the 5th gen kit but they'll be virtually identical. The end brackets on the trailing arms are a little tricky to get on but will fit with some patience. You'll save a fair amount of cash if you go Cattman (ADDCO).

If you're looking for a perfect fit, nice looks, and more adjustability, but at a higher price, then go for the Stillen RSB.
