5 speed trany fluid change and NGK Iridiums
I change my Tranny fluid again this Sunday. I was going to follow direction for from the sticky. I unscrewed the fill plug and I was going to unscrew the bolt used for draining, but I noticed a sensor on the driver side going into tranny with a rubber/plastic plug help on place with a since bolt. I thought what the hell... So I unscrewed it and pulled the plug. I can tell you, tranny was fluid free in seconds. It was faster and easier than the plug I used to use. Plus it's located lower than the other bolt, so all the fluid came out. Just thought I would share.
I also, change spark plugs. I wanted to get new NGK Iridium IX's but NKG doesn't have them for VQ30DE yet. I got just regular NGK Iridiums. They are little more expensive, but I can tell you I liked them I lot. Car accelerates better, I think. I had platinum for 10k miles before this so I know it's not because of the new plug. This plugs are just better then platinums.
