My warranty is GONE!

Well the ODO on my 2k2 just clicked past 36,000 yesterday, and the wheels didn't fall off, nor did the engine drop out. I'm still very skeered something's gonna happen, and I definitely will go into debt if a major repair comes calling.

You do realize that is the standard warranty period and that powertrain coverage goes to 5/60?

I could be wrong but I think you can still extend it once you're beyond 36k miles, however it requires you to take the car in and let them do a complete check up on it first. I think that's how they determine pricing.

Yeah i realize that i still get the 60,000. It's not too late to buy an extended warranty though, i'm pretty sure you can buy one at any time, just maybe not from nissan. I was just saying that a little of my "owner's comfort" is gone. Like what if i turned my car on tonight and the HID's blew, no choice but to spend a ton of money to replace them.

Nope, basic is 3/36k followed by powertrain until 5/60k.
