I was going to lunch and found myself at a stoplight with a 96-98 Mustang Cobra. I couldn't resist...We went from a rolling start and he easily jumped out 2-3 car lengths on me. We didn't go past about 50mph though to keep it safe. We were in a business park area with no side streets or parking area outlets so there was no chance of anyone pulling out in front of me.

He had exhaust mods but other than that I think he was stock. I've driven those cars so I know they will smoke a Max, I just wanted to see how badly he would smoke me.

thats the beauty of it...you see family sedan car....but you just never know when you pull up next to a boosted maxima & get your a$$ handed down....

mustangs are know to be sports cars...so there's really no sleeper appearance you can do to it

96-98 Cobra 5spds run high 13's stock with a good driver, '03 Max Auto's run mid-high 14's stock. From a roll, the RWD vs. FWD shouldn't matter all that much, just reaction time. He would have beat you anyway you look at it, especially if he had the first reaction.

BTW, I bet that Cobra sounded pretty freaking awesome huh?
