Ok,...I've been reading about maxspeeds,teins,eibach,etc,etc..... My original plan was eibach pro-kits with Kyb AGX's(<gen4 modded). So heres the deal,....Im sticking with the KYB AGX's cuz I want the adjustability. Now the question is.....What springs do I get?? I hear the Eibach's r really good. But then I hear the TEINS r the SHIZNIT!! Im so damn confoozled . I need all the help I can get on this. Im driving down to Virgina in less than 3 weeks and I need to have all this done. So far I got my Place racing CAI,Greddy EVO cat back,Cattman Y-pipe,Random Tech. Hi-flow cat,VB mod stage 3(full race),& trans. fluid cooler installed(couldnt get the gen.5 solenoids,If anyone knows how/where to get em,please PM me).I also have my FSTB waiting to be installed. But since custom maxima.com F**ked up and sent me 2 right side connectors for it. I gotta wait to install that too.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE....I NEED HELP/INFO ASAP!!!

 

We'll since you've already made your aftermarket shock choice: CATTMAN modified KYB AGX shocks,I suggest you either run 4TH Gen(95-99)PROGRESS Sport Springs,SPRINT Sport Springs.

 

You will need a 4th gen spring for sure.

 

That means no Teins. However sprints are still an option.

What up. I just butchered the Maxspeeds and sold them to Kloogy for $15. All that matters is that I am EXTREMELY happy with my cut Eibachs.

 

You have a close of these? I'd like to see how chopped eibachs look like..

Not that I'm doubting you or anything,But since we spoke last night. Ive been thinking. A lot of ppl r using the set-up I want,KYB AGX/eibach. But then I think.....Well If the AGX's r gonna be modded to fit my gen.5,with new mounts and all that stuff,Wouldn't I still be able to use gen.5 TEIN'S?? OR DO I REALLY HAFTA GO WITH GEN.4 SPRINGS?!!? So far I havent found many/ANY gen.4 springs that interest me. As I said I dont care about looks. I care about straight up PERFORMANCE!!
I just want some more insight/info/opinions on this before I buy my springs.

 

Who is running this combo? I have seen 3 people now who have had to change out their Eibach springs because of major problems with the AGXs. The rear springs are too big for the mounts.

Why not buy 4th gen Eibachs?? They will work fine.

 

Hey, bud, just a suggestions, but how about socking away the suspension mod money to get ready for those kids you want to have??

 

I went Maxspeed/GR2 combo! $260 shocks and $90 springs! For a total investment of $350 you can't go wrong!

 

You want straight up performance huh.......well then get some JICs, or Tein coilovers. You cant topp that.
