Car seems to lag in auto shift?

Car seems to lag in auto shift?
I have a 2000 max auto and when I step on the gas the car seem to have a huge lag before it shifts into the next gear. But if I drop of the gas it will shift faster. Whats the probelm? I already cleaned the TB.

is the tranny slipping meaning that the rpms are climbing but the speed is not?

there are two technical service bulletins from nissan on this. im guessing you are out of the 36k mile warranty but nissan may be able to work something out since it is your transmission. one is for the solenoids replacement which cured my slipping and the other is for tcm replacement. i did not need the transmission control module replaced but i had it done as offered by nissan.
