17" 2K Replica/Generic Rims

I think someone posted this a while ago, but I can't search. Does anybody know who makes the 17" 2K-2K1 SE rims? I need to get 1 rim, and want to check by manufacturer to see if i can find the rim at a cheaper price than what I've found. Also, if you know who makes them, do they come in 8" widths? Much appreciated.

OEM replica rims

I found a place that does an almost perfect replica of the 2000 6 spoke rim (it's the one with the center cap to cover the lugs). It's called 0.E. Wheel Distributors in Sarasota. Their number is (941)-921-0065, although I don't know if you can order just one rim or not. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I called O.E. but they were closed for the day. I'm also going to post up here and see if I can come across something. Thanks folks.

Hey Eenis, I have finally tracked down all of the specs for the 2k1 OE 6-spoke wheel (no thanks to Nissan; 'classified info.' my @@s!!), and as far as I can tell, the replicas at O.E. are an EXACT match to factory specs. Like I said, the wheel you are getting is the 6-spoke, aluminum wheel, with the plastic center cap to cover the lugs. The only two differences I can see are 1.) the center cap on the replica rims is the same color as the rim, rather than the dark gray color, and 2.) you can pick up all 4 replica rims for $458 (not including the roughly $80 total shipping charge), whereas the absolute lowest price I've seen online for 1 true Nissan wheel of the same type is $373 and change. Anyway, good luck with the rim hunt!

Folks, I checked O.E. and they sell the rim for $142 + $20 shipping. Total $162. I will be ordering from there, then motoring to NTB to order my set of sumitomo's. I can't use the 17" rim as a full size spare, can I? It's too big to fit in the back, right?

1. Replicas look identical other than the center cap, but fortunately center caps are completely interchangeable. This is a replica:

Notice how the center cap does not have a dark grey circle on it. That is patented by Nissan and cannot be copied.

2. The 17" wheel should fit in the back just fine.

I think I have seen 5th gen 17" wheels made without the center caps which model is that from; I wanna buy the six spoke wheels but I'm afraid the center caps will get stolen.

2K2-2K3 don't have the full center caps. They have exposed lugs.

TRYING TO GET A DEAL FOR MAXIMA.ORG

Everyone looking into getting rims from O.E., I'm going to talk to them tomorrow to determine if they will give some kind of discount on the rims for Maxima.org people; is there a way we can use them as a sponsor, or would that not be worth looking into?

Ask them if they got 2002-2003 type wheels. Also ask if they can offer a group deal.

I tried to get my one rim today....said they have to check inventory and call me back tomorrow. Best believe that if they won't sell me the one I'll be in the GD trying to get it.

Yeah, I'm trying to do the same thing now that someone answered the question of whether a full spare will fit in back. I should be calling around 4:30 tomorrow when I get off work; if you call earlier than that, do me a favor and tell them some other people also are interested in purchasing a single wheel to have as a spare; I called them today about it and maybe they will put two-and-two together and sell us both a single rim. Oh also, mention that you heard about 'em from Maxima.org so I can try to push this group deal thing through. Thanks Eenis, good luck!

If OE is worried about selling an odd number of wheels I'm sure I saw a few threads were someone wanted to buy 1 wheel. Since spring wants 5 wheels and Eeenis wants 1 wheel just find 1 person who wants to buy 2 wheels or 2 people who want to buy 1 wheel then you got 2 sets of 4 wheels.

P.S. can you guys find out if they sell tires too? I see alot of threads like "wtb 2k wheels/tires". Also do they have a toll free 1800 number so I can call myself?
