how to aim HIDS higher?

Hey, Ive just realized barely after like 5 months that after I lowered my car, the beam is a lot lower and I heard that there is a way to aim the HIDS a bit higher

Anyone know how?>

newbies go figure...

on the back of the headlight there is a white gear that you need to turn...I forget exactly which direction makes the beam go up/down...

It's a little difficult to turn though, you need the right tools...

have fun...

I just happened to adjust the headlights this past weekend. The only tools you'll need is a very small flathead screwdriver and a flashlight. As NizanDrivn said, you'll need to turn the white gear behind each housing. There's a slot on the side made for you to stick the screwdriver. If your facing forward (the same direction as the car is pointing), turning the gear counter-clockwise will raise beam and clockwise to lower.

Good luck!

No matter which way you face the gear, counterclockwise is the same...liekwise for clockwise turning

Thanks for the link illin, I was just thinking I need to do this adjustment!

I can actually see the road now

I didnt know how high to go, mso I did a lot ot turns and my lights were pointed at some palm trees! lol

The tool that should be used is a 8MM ratchet.
While a screwdriver may work as well, you can strip it or not be as accurate...

THanks for all the help guys
