I have the DELPHI SkyFi XM radio and IT ROCKS!!!! Best unit available for channel surfers IMO.

I SHOULD have pics Monday/Tuesday of it mounted, since I plan to install it when I go on vacation this weekend.

I had Sirius and loved the content but I didn't get too great of reception around here. I am changing to XM when the new tuner comes out. I just don't have room for the SKYFi unit on my dash. Pictures of the SKYFi installed would be great.

I also have the alpine tuner, which I'm now using in the max. And I have the Pioneer 903 in the pathfinder. And I have a skyfi at work/home.

I was using Delphi in the max. The tuner is great.. I have a cradle at work and the boombox at home. I was using the delphi FM mod in the max, but I really didnt like the quality. Its not the best FM mod (yeah, I had the 2nd revision) and it gets hotter than any FM mod should. I knew I was going to get a new headunit, so I got the alpine tuner from Crutchield (still on sale btw).

I'd say the pioneer was the best sounding FM mod, but the display isnt very informative. at least the alpine scrolls. With FM mod on our factory Bose (clarion), its really easy to get static. If you dont set the output level high enough, you dont get much volume... set it too high, you get some static on the highs.. :/ regardless, I refuse to drive my car without XM

If I were you, I would wait for the Pioneer 917XM. it will answer all these problems.

Or get a Skyfi if you can deal with the cassette adaptor. I know the cassette thing is not the best solution, but its less noise.

Oh, I just remembered... I didnt hear the static in high notes before I upgraded the tweeters in the bose with the FM mod. I know its just the FM mods as CDs sound 1000x better with new tweets. You'd be surprised how much music info is lost on those stock tweets, good or bad.

I've got Sirius with the panasonic equipment they were giving away a few months ago. I had the antenna on the rear deck like Tim's but once I got my windows tinted I had to move it out on the trunk. The metal in the tint was blocking the signal.

Here's pics I snapped when I first got it installed:
