Hi,

I have a 2000 SE and when I started my car the other day, the check engine light came on for the first time ever and the idle was extremely rough and the steering wheel was shaking hard when the car was not moving.. Once I got over about 10MPH it was ok to drive, but the idle is still rough and the light is still on today... Any thoughts as to what this could be? O2, MAF sensor, etc?

My car (03 SE) did that, but after it was running for quite awhile. My shaking was caused by bad fuel. Yours sounds like MAF failure though.

 

Yep sounds like a MAFS failure. Go get the code checked out.
