auto lights sensitivity

Is there any way to adjust the sensitivity of the "auto headlight" feature? It seems like everybody else on the road has their headlights on, and the "auto lights" haven't kicked on yet. So I end up manually turning the lights on. Kind of defeats the purpose...

Thanks,
DG

you can take it back to the dealer. in the computer that regulates when the lights come on, they can change it to be more sensitive, to come on earlier. it is very simple to do, and it take like 10mins. i doubt they would charge you too. while they are in there, ask what else they can chage in there... you will be surpized what they tell you.

i forget what else they can change, i know that they can also change how your buttons work on your remote. you know how you press the unlock button and the drivers and passenger side front doors unlock and if you press it again it unlocks the rear doors? well they can change it so one press unlock all doors instead of just the two. i know there is a list of 10- 20 other things as well, but i just forget them. i would do a search of it, but i can't. sorry.

I'd really like it when the lights would turn on while the wipers are running. I thought they were on on auto mode when I was driving in the rain with the wipers on but they weren't. Ehh..stupid me...

Aaargh - why would you want that?!? I hate it when rental cars do that - if I want the damn doors locked, I'll lock them

Sorry, personal riff not aimed at you.

Bear in mind--not all of these are available on the 2k2-2k3. And for anyone who has Consult II access they are labeled a little differently than listed.

You can adjust the sensitivity of the turn on, I changed mine 1 step. The adjusting option is sweet, though not all dealers know how to do it (not published). Have fun!
