What are correct A/Fs for the Max?
What are correct A/Fs for the Max?
When I was dyno'd at ATP last week, My A/F's were at a pretty steady 15. I thought they were suppose to be closer to 12. Anybody have an idea to what may be causing this? All my mods are listed in my sig.
Anyone???

about the only fix would be to get a SAFC and tune it by adding and subtracting fuel to richin or lean it out

But there still must be something causing this to occur, like weak fuel pump, malfunctioning injectors, ECU error...something...I mean the car's stock system should be able to compenstate for the few extra hp that I have added. I mean there are people running 50shots without any fuel management and are doing just fine..

Seems lean to me, your mods are going to cause it to lean a wee bit, but not that much.
Weak fuel pump or clogged filter maybe?
A/F monitor wacked?.
12:1 is good for FI cars, N/A's should be 13-14:1 at WOT.

15 is kinda high... I have the same mods as you and same car essentially and my A/F was high 13's - 14 when I dyno'd... put down numbers similar to yours. Maybe get a fuel pressure gauge on there to see what kind of pressure you are getting... maybe try some fuel injector cleaner
