Thinking about jumping on the group deal before it ends Saturday. For those that already purchased the leather seat kit from leatherseats.com or Katzkin please post helpful comments.

Also, for those that have frost interior what combination did you go with for 2-toned leather? I was told to use platinum and puddy. Not sure if I should go with platinum on the outside of the seat with puddy in the middle or the other way around. Pretty sure I have to go with puddy door insert since that is the color of the cloth that is there now.

I installed a Leatherseats. com (Katzkin) interior a couple of months ago. I went with the colors that match the interior trim. Went with the tan (don't know the official color) on the outside with brown (?) perrforated inserts. It looks very good. I can email some pics if you like.

So you went with the lighter color on the outside and the darker color in the middle? Eric at leatherseats.com recommended I do the opposite. Darker (Platinum) on the outside with Lighter (Puddy) in the middle. My dash is Platinum on the top half and Puddy on the bottom. Your car is the same except Brown on top with tan on the bottom? Any regrets going with your combo?

 

No regrets, it looks good and the perforation on the darker inserts keeps them from being too hot.

Maybe I should ask it this way. What part of the seat, outside or inside part, should be the same color as the console/armrest?
