More info would help!

Tire size?
Tire make?
Properly inflated?
Properly aligned?

What is the 'wear pattern'? Even or not?

Tires are stock Bridgestone 225/50VR17.
Tires wear is even in the front and even in the rear.
Inflation currently at 30psi all around.
I consistantly get 26 MPG.
Current milage 26k.

Appreicate any ideas or comments.

Thanks,

Bob

How can "Tires wear is even in the front and even in the rear.", if your original post says the rears are wearing faster, are you saying the two fronts are the same, the two rears are the same, just the fronts and rears are not?

Also, how often do you rotate?

True, forgot to comment on that one. Still, for me 35-36 is a tad high.

What I mean by even wear in front & back is both the left & right tires are evenly worn though different from the front to the back. And no I don't truck around "heavy loads" While 30 PSI may be low it doesn't account for the uneven wear since the front, having more weight, has maybe 20% more tread than the rear. I've always seen more wear on the front of all my cars.

At 26k miles I believe you would have had you tires rotated at least 3 times by now. If 3 is the number you now have the original fronts on the back and they have been up front twice.

No, I've not rotated my tires at all, hence the reason why the rear wear is so strange.

What about the wear pattern? Wearing evenly on each tire? More inside gone? Outer edges going?

Each tire is worn evenly though slightly more wear on the outer edges of the rears. And no I don't take mad turns or have a long driveway.
