No headers out yet. Y gives little to no gain. B might give 1-2 HP. Muffler is already pretty efficent. Therefore, I say to wait until Stealin comes out with the headers and them do something. Adding those parts now is like pi$$ing in the wind.

to what maximamaybe said!

I have the GReddy Evo and noticed some difference but your only talking a 3-5hp gain. To me it was worth it for the awesome sound it produces. If your after hp, i would def wait on Stillen before doing a y-pipe.

I have the Cattman and I definitely noticed gains. On top of the fact that it sounds awesome.

There are more gains on a pre-2K2 model. The 3.0 liter is happier with exhaust mods than the 3.5.

It not that the 3.0 is happier it's that the stock Y for the 3.5 is much better so little to no gain there.

Here's a thread where Emax dyno'd his car after adding a Greddy Evo and RT cat. He gain 9 hp and 8lbs of torque.

Catback

So I've been really looking into this for an '02 6MT SE. I wanted to get the most horse power out of the exhaust system and so far I've gotten:

Headers - Cattman
Y Pipe - WarpSpeed
Catalyic Con. - Magnaflow
The rest - Borla?

What else am I missing?
Is that a good combo for the most HP?

y-pipe is the pipe directly after the headers, that connects to each header. the b-pipe is the section after the cat converter that traditionally has a resonator attached to it(between cat and axleback)

Of course, for the most power, you will want individual exhaust pipes for each cylinder, like a top fuel dragster has. Routing it out of the hood would be the easiest route.

Without Yall ripping my head off, where can you actually get new Cattmans or obx headers new, Iv seen obx on ebay a couple times and from what I have heard is that the cattman is better and it seems like finding Osama bin laden was easier than finding some cattmans for a 2k3 max.

call Cattman and join the waiting list......Or call JBA and start by getting them to build a Maxima header since they do build headers for the VQ40 (Frontier) and VK56 (Titan) trucks.....
