yet another b-pipe question

i went to a local performance shop here in ga to get a quote on custom 2.5" mendrel bent bpipe to go along with my powertech muffler.
the guy quoted me $250.00 for everything

$250.00 does not include muffler, which i already bought last week

Thats about right. I was quoted the same on a mandrel bent one.

If you want, just order the mandrel bent one from WarpspeedPerformance.com it is somewhere near $175

You are correct, but the crushes in the bends defeats the purpose, which is not size, but rather a free flowing exaust channel. You would be better off with a 2 inch mandrel bent , than a 3 inch crush bent. Crushes == turbulence in the exhaust.

But it's still "crush bent"= minimal exhaust flow. If I were you I would of have got a bigger piping diameter(2.25 or 2.5) with mandrel bent piping from the cat all the way to the muffler.
