well, i went to checker and picked up the $25 airhorns they have there...i am somewhat happy w/ them and somewhat unhappy

pros
...much louder than stock
...scare people
...all the pros are from how loud it is so i will stop talking about that
...fairly easy install

cons
...when i lock the doors it no longer makes a beep unless i keep the stock horn hooked up because of the fact that the airhorns take about 1/10th of a sec longer than the normal horns because they have to go through the compressor and the beep from hitting lock only lasts about .1 secs...
...they are really high pitched, some people like this, some people don't, i am starting to as i scare more and more people w/ my horn

i'll try to post pics...i had the front stock horn hooked up by itself just for the beep when you lock the doors because that is the horn that does that...i'm thinking about hooking that one back up and leaving it hooked up...when i disconnected each horn to hear the different tones, the one next to the engine sounds like a car in england and the front one is kinda high pitched...i'm gonna try to hookup the previous back one upto the front and see how that sounds

as far as i know, there is no way to wire one of the stock horns so that it only honks when you lock your doors...since both of the stock horns honk when you hit the horn and only one honks when you hit the lock button...i may just keep the front horn plugged in...it was louder that way..i'll post pics in a couple days
