How should I fare in this drag-race to 120kph?

We're talking about a hunk of **** that is more than 2,000 lbs heavier than a Maxima! I can't believe you're even asking this question! This is a fu@king no brainer...

This is True but the Escalade has 345 hp, I know the Denali has less, though I don't know exactly how much less. There both heavy as hell.
The reason I asked is because I raced one and we were VERY close. I edged away to win after about 80kph, but it was too close for comfort.
I looked up this info on Denali XL:
Engine type, displacement: OHV V-8; six liters
Horsepower: 320 @ 5,000
Torque: 360 foot pounds @ 4,000
Weight: 5839 pds
The weird thing is I could have swore this denali had an "XLT" badge but I can find no reference to an XLT model existing, just "XL"
The Escalade is apparently 5869 pounds so based on above I would possibly lose to one in the same circumstances.

i checked car-stats.com and a escalade does 60 in 7.8 sec. and 1\4 in 16 flat......very close to a 2k1 max auto.the denali is slightly slower.

You know this is like comparing apples & oranges, Trucks are geared for pulling, hence the high HP/Torque, this shouldn't even be a contest, now if you were to have a tug of war with him, you would be tossed around like a rag doll

Nope. I raced my friends escalade with my 2k1 auto (RIP) and got him by a carlength to 60 and kept pulling from there( was shifting manually). My 2k3 absolutely roasts him.

are you sure it was the 345 6.0 v8 with awd? if so they run about 0-60 in 7.8 seconds and if your 2k1 was stock that seems about right if you drive the 2k1 right.

AWD - all four wheels ALWAYS turn
4wheel drive - can switch from 2 wheel to 4 wheel drive
