engine choking

Hey guys hope you can help me out here.My only performance mods on my 02 se 6-sp are place CAI and greddy cat-back,problem is it seems like my engine is choking when i hit it hard, feels like a jerking as if it were to run out of gas.Do you think it could be a fuel air problem with just these two mods? Thanks in advance

i doubt those mods would affect air/fuel ratios that much to it to feel like its choking. i would check all the clamps on the intake. do you have a check engine light?

i was thinking perhaps you're mass air flow sensor was on its last leg but if you havent thrown a cel then i doubt thats it. i have been driving aroudn before and it feels like the car dropped a cylinder and it ended up being my frankencar backing out of the couplers. it was still inside but the clamp was not securing. i would take a good look at the intake and any breather lines running to it.
