Caliper Froze Up.

Last Friday I was riding along when I hear a dragging kind of noise. At first I was hoping it was the axle shaft so i could get it covered. I brought it to nissan that day with 40k miles on it. Unfortunately it was not hte axle shaft but the driver side caliper had frozen up. They wanted 667 to put a new caliper on it, resurface the rotors and put on new pads. I once I heard that I told them I'd fix it myself. I picked up some power slot rotors and ordered the caliper. I was wondering which pads to go with. I can go to an import auto parts place and get oem ceramic ones for 47 dollars. Has anyone used the hawk pads. Do they squeal since they're semi metallic? Anyone else have suggestions on pads. I need something for street use.
