Trunk Part Question

I am needing to order a new part for the inside of my trunk. It is the big piece of fake wood that goes above the spare tire and under the trunk carpeting.

Does anyone know the official name for this piece and/or its part #?

TIA

You can call DaveB (# in the FAQ's) to price out that pressboard stuff.

If it cracked and you want it flat again...it might be cheaper to get some metal angle irons and use contact cement to brace it back in shape. This would also be stronger that if you got a new one anyway.

I spilled gas on it and I don't want that smell back in my car, so I am looking to replace it.
Thanks

Oh, that sucks.

Yep, try DaveB. Something that oddly shaped may cost a bit in shipping, but you can at least try him.

You know, as a second thought, why not use the original as a template to trace out another one you can cut from plywood?

1/2" pylwood or OSB. Save time and cash with something stronger.
