I did the leatherseats.com install. I fubared my doors. I saw the interior door panels on an I30 and was considering a swap. Does anyone know if they will fit? Any help or linkage is appreciated.

Isn't the I30 longer wheel base than Maxima and rear doors stretched a couple of inches?

The I30 has the same wheel base and same interior space. It's basicly a clown with different sheet metal.

As for the I30 panels fitting, thats a good question. I am in the same boat as you, I have custom leather and I could never get the door panels done correctly. If the price is not bad perhaps one of us could get a I30 door panel out of a junk yard and give it a try. My guess is it will be a close fit but a tad off.

Last time I was in a max the door panels (size-wise) looked identical to mine.

I can take pictures a little later if you guys want. I'm dead sick right now. Only reason I'm up is because the coughing is keeping me from going to sleep

Um...Infiniti owners will not like you calling their cars clowns. I think you mean clones maybe? haha

actually, the i30, i35 is the maxima in most of the countries in the world. I think our maxima is only available in N America.

I've put the crack pipe away for the summer... But when I first started to consider a Maxima or I30, I know that I read in a magazine that the I30 had a slightly longer wheelbase and more rear seat leg room. Has this ever been the case or am I just hallucinating?

Why are you saying "actualy" as if you are correcting me? I fail to see what I said wrong and I do not feel as if I should be corrected..

And infact you are correct, the maxima in most other countrys is "actualy" very much like the US spec I30. Infact it is "actualy" a nissan cefiro and goes by the name A33 and cefiro.

My bad about the clone, clown thing.

The interior panels of the Infiniti I30 look much, much, better than the Max.

All you need to do is stop by your Infiniti dealer and look at the I30 or I35 door panels.......

Don't we have connctions to find out how much these are (DaveB, Tustin Nissan, etc)?

I bet these panels are very expensive new, in the $200 + range per door I bet. The only way I would get new door panels is through a junk yard.
