Hey, a set of Maxspeed spring would cost you about 100$, and it will make a whole world of difference, it will close the gap and your car will look better.

Just my 2 cents.

Going beyond 18's is not a good idea, both in terms of handling and ride comfort. A street car needs some actual height in the tires to accomodate the real world pot holes, bumps, etc. The higher profile tires also acts as part of the suspension and greatly helps out the ride comfort. If you took a look at the Formula 1 cars or any of the true race cars, none have those little rubber band tires. This is because they're strictly for aesthetics and not for handlings. So, if you're at all concerned about the functionality of the car, I'd compromise and go with something like a 18 x 8.5 with 245/40's. Then after you set up your wheels and tires properly, there's a whole variety of suspension set ups that you can go with (i.e. H&R/KYB GR2, Eibach/Tokico Blue, etc.).

Get 20's!! As for the ride, its great. Everyone I have given a ride says the same. they can not believe that its 20's they are riding on. I am no racer, i totally love the look of my car...so that was no sacrifice for me.
