can I mount an amp on the back on the rear seat?

 

I have mines mounted on the rear seat. No problems at all with heat or anything..

 

I had mine mounted on the rear as well before it got stolen

 

I have one on each seat...no problems.

 

Should have used the seat locks and trunk valet lock..

Dont think that would have worked when they stole the entire $8000 system. They tore up the car to get the stuff.

Actually, I just like to stear clear of areas where that kinda stuff happens. I'm in NY and I heard about a HID theft in Yonkers in the Home Depot parking lot in the middle of the day! Needless to say, I will never go there again (Yonkers that is )

My stinkin amp has fallen off of the back of the seat twice now. I must just be missing the damn important parts.

 

Aim for the sheet metal behind the panel board. I took the panel board off and replaced it with tempered hardboard, it's a little more robust. In my pics you'll notice I drew on the board to outline where the sheetmetal is so I could try and get the screws in there. Just an idea.
