Clutch Setup?

I have a 2K maxima se 5spd. The clutch travel is very long and I have to move my leg too much to be comfortable when shifting frequently.
Is this something that can be adjusted or am I stuck.
Also, any recommendation for replacing the bridgestones 225/50R17 with good all season tires?

Thanks!

Mine is the same way. Seems like Nissan insists on keeping the travel pretty long (relatively speaking) on all generation Maximas. I'm not sure if it's adjustable or not, but I've adjusted to it, and don't consider it a problem anymore.

Nope... Your better off just getting a ACT Street Strip clutch. The engagment point is really low on these

If I upgrade the clutch (Mine needs replacing within 10K anyway,) is there a need change out other parts? I don't drive particuarly hard, I just enjoy the feel of good heal-toe driving.
Thanks!

what other parts would you be thinking about?
you will need to replace the throwout bearing, the flex plate, the clutch and also get the flywheel resurfaced. Not a big job, and its nice an easy on our maxima's.

While I'm doing mine, I'm taking the time to drain and fill the transmission.
