Hey guys if Im going to order Stillen front lip from 2ooo model and put on my 2k2.. I know some people say it wont fit but hey I can go to body work and make it fit.. Maybe they can do it! What you think and have you done it to body work? LEt me know

 

The only person with a 00 Aero Lip on a 2k2 max is emax. Another Org. memeber attempted but did not succeed. I think you should get the 00 Aero Lip custom molded to your front 02 bumper.

You'll have to basically cut the lip in half since that;s the only way it will fit. And use bondo to mold and fill in the gap.. Your bodyshop can do that..

 

why don't u just wait for two more weeks....front lip for the 02-03 will come out at custommaxima....I called them....they told me that...

 

Is custommaxima coming out with a "knock-off" of the Aero Lip???

 

I honestly don't know which lip they will be coming out with...cuz i just ordered my sides and rear from them....they told me that they got alot of new shiet coming out for our car...including...2 new front lips....

 

Why dont you get a 2k or 2k1 bumper from a junkyard and put the lip on? Dont know exactly if 2k~2k1 bumpers fit the 2k2.. but i am assuming it does. I got quoted 160 shipped for a white OEM bumper from a junkyard in TX. I guess, it's a matter of who much your willing to spend..

 

don't think it's gonna be an AE lip, the photo shop one looked gross in that thread a couple weeks ago

I haven't seen him around for a while now. Must be busy.

 

Just to let you guys know, I'm talking with PJ at Maxxtuning about making a AE lip/bumber for us 2k2/3 guys. A couple of weeks back, he stated he should have something ready for us at the end of the month. I'm not impressed with the CM bumper that was shown a couple of weeks back, it may look better once its done. Does anyone have pics of the other lip they are doing?
