Works Good, although if it is raining or wet you can hear some suction noises, but I have not found any leaks. I drove a 2001 altima the other day while raining and it does the same as my max.

No, although closing the shade at highway speeds reduces road noises little. Does anyone have the wind deflector, and are you happy with the look?

I have it...

I have the wind deflector. What I have found it to do is keep that ANNOYING "choppy" noise you get with sunroofs at high speeds while other windows are shut. It also looks nice (I think) head on. You can see it elevated from the top of the roof, showing you have the sunroof and just gives it a nice "sporty" look, again, I think. But aside from looks, I think it works good. I never knew it was for function...but it sure does cut out that annoying wind noise!

No problems at all. I highly recommend the wind deflector it does make a difference. DO NOT BUY A DEFLECTOR FROM YOUR DEALER they will over charge you. Buy one from Courtesy Nissan.

A friend of mine owns a '91 Nissan Sentra SE-R with a sunroof. He uses his a lot ..everytime it is at least 60 degrees and not raining...and he hasn't had any trouble whatsoever. His experience makes me feel better about Nissan roofs.

OMG! I was driving my Max down the highway and as i sped up to around 90 the sunroof started vibrating violently and i remember lookig up and seeing it try to pull back but you could hear the motor making noise trying to keep it shut so i slowed down and got off on the next exit ramp and after that, it never happened again.........j/k

No problems here!

Problems

I've had a problem...here it is

Got in one day to open the roof and it only opens about 1/5 of the way. So I flip the slide back switch 5 times to get it all the way open. When I go to close it, it goes past the close position and begins to tilt up. Keep in mind I was only using the slide switch. More investigation...both buttons now do both functions, but poorly might I add.

Anyways, the dealer replaced the motor/control module assembly after multiple visits, but I got it fixed under warranty. Man, dealerships can be real idiots. I investigated on my own and found out what the problem was and told them, and they still didn't fix it the first time...

I also recommend the wind deflector. I like the looks and it defintely cuts back on the wind buffeting. Much quieter with the roof open now. Also, no leaks!
