i want to put tints on my black max and i was just wondering what everyone else has or would recoment. i dont want anything too dark that i cant see out of them at night time

5% rear and 35% front here....

Im gonna be doing my front windsheild 50% and a sunblock thingy on the top of the winshild 5% about 2-3 layers

 

20 rear and 35 sides looks good.

Go with 20% on the back and 35% on your windows if you have charcoal interior, but if you have a lighter interior and 20% is not illegal get where you are located get the 20% all around. Either % will bring out the chrome lining on your door frame and I think that gives the Maxima it's upscale profile.

 

i agree. on my first car i got 35% all the way around and wished i had gotten 20%. on my new car i decided to get 35% all the way around again for some reason and now im wishing i got 20% again.

 

I found this pic in another tread looks like the guy has 35% on the windows and possibly 20% on the rear window.

 

If you are worried about police then i'd reccomend 35% on the side windows and 15% on the single rear window. If you arent concerned about being pulled over or your state allows it, then 20% all around would be good, maybe 15% on the rear window if you prefer, but sometimes it gets a little hard to see backing out with 15% on the rear.

 

ive got a black leather interior so would that make everything look darker, in that case i could get a lighter tint right?

ive got 20% front, 5% back/rear windshield..

but since i have frost interior the 20% looks more like 35%, especially because of the contrast with the rear windows, so im doing my fronts down to 5%...

the areas im at, cops dont pull people over for tints unless youre doing stupid sh-t so im not worried about the law...

i think black cars look good with 20% all around, or if youre so inclined do 5%, IMO the latter is just so nice...i cant wait to get mine redone

 

I put 20% titanium all around. I think it looks pretty tight....but that just my opinion.

I would seriously consider going 5% (limo) tint all around, then possibly 35% on the windshield if you like that. Blacked out tint looks really good on all black cars, IMO. Driving at night really isnt that hard, and if you not in an area where the cops care, then I would go for it.
