I have a 03 se auto and I want to switch the shift know which looks like a manual shift ****. First question is how do I get it off because it doesn't have any screws so do I just twist if off? Second ques is will a manual shift **** fit on the shifter?

 

If it is the same **** that is on an 04, you have to first pull down on the plastic piece on the bottom of the ****. This will reveal a metal spring clip that holds the **** on. Pull the spring clip off and then pull the **** off.

 

'02-'03 are twist-off *****. Just turn them counter-clockwise.

 

thanks fellas. I figured it was a twist, but didnt want to go torquing on anything until I checked.
