it's a ***** to put in man...TOO TOO slanted. i'd just go get some 4th gen headrests and fit them there (more squared out) or just buy ready made headrest tv's.

btw, if you plan on attempting to put them in the slanted headrests, can't really go much bigger than 5". i mean you could, but it's tight. i was hoping for min. 6.5.

we'll see what i end up deciding on.

Just put in a 7" overhead screen like mine. I think it worked out better.

Check out Dixit's car... BigDogJonx. He has headrest TV's in his 5th Gen but not sure if he swapped the headrests out for 4th Gen Headrests...

yeah, but those look ghetto IMO. that flush look, hidden look, looks hot. or not even seeing them at all. attaching it seems like efford wasn't done to make it look nice or show quality.

again, just my opinion, but if your'e gonna do headrests, do it right or dont' do it at all.

i dunno...i gues safety does come first, but i really wanna have tv's in my headrests, and these headrests aren't letting me.

has anyojne seen what the 6th gen headrests looks like, maybe they're more shaped towards our likes AND prolly still have the "active headrest" safety feature. if not, looks like i'm losin my neck in an accident...damn...and i really liked my nec.

that overhead looks great....but the housing is a lil' too big for me. how's the angle on it? does it obstruct the view too much?

I don't know if this is an option for you or not. But I have started looking at the Visor LCD's. You can get 5 inch for like $120 each - Get 2 and put one in each visor. I don't much about them other than that.

Helpful advice...

Since I will be doing this mod in a week or so, I asked a 5th Gen guy that already did this mod and this is what he said...

Same 5th gen headrests. What I did was get the TV mount to fit in the headrest after I cut out the foam inside. Had to modify the mount a bit and then stuck it in there. Then what I did was fold in the leather on top of the inside mount and then jammed the TV ontop of that so that it basically acted as a pressure fit. I didnt like the shrouds, made it look funky.

Dixit

Hope this helps a bit... Thanx Dixit!
